OMG People!!!
I have found heaven in the form of WATERMELON SALSA!
Have you ever heard of such a thing????
This salsa is sooooooo good. You all need to run out and try it right now.
GO!
Oh. Wait. I didn't give you the recipe yet....
Okay here goes:
Watermelon Salsa
Taken from All Recipes.com
Ingredients
2 cups finely chopped and seeded watermelon
1 cup crushed pineapple drained well
1 cup sweet onion, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (like Tabasco) or just to taste
1. Stir the watermelon, pineapple, and onion together with the cilantro, orange juice and hot sauce in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.
I ate this with regular tortilla ships, but I think next time I may try something more exotic.
Anyone know any good exotic chips that may go with this??
Okay so talk about whip it up! This was so easy and soooo good. My supermarket sells watermelon already cut up so I just bought that and used it instead of buying and cutting up a full watermelon. Although, I am kind of sad that I don't have any watermelon left over for snacking.
The website says that when you make this salsathat you should bring copies of the recipe with you wherever you bring it because everyone will be asking for the recipe.
Seriously. So good.
On a programming note- The winners of the Name Bailey's Weekly Post will be up tomorrow, so make sure to check back. I apologize to all my fans (you still there anyone?) that I haven't been around. The kiddos are coming back to school in the next few weeks and my class is killing me!! But hopefully after I hand in my final on Sunday I will be much better and back to posting!

How different and fun! It's like a dessert salsa!
This will sound crazy, but what if you ate it with cucumber slices?
I think I would eat this straight from the bowl without chips or anything... Yum!
And now, off to the grocery store!
I bet it would be good with those pita chip things.
Yum! Hm... One of the organic companies makes a blue corn tortilla chip that is also spicy. I think that might work with a sweet fruit salsa!
