CONGRATULATIONS to Gina at The Crave to Save. She was lucky commenter #9 (a number I picked at random from 1-14) and won the $60 to CSNStores.com
Remember waaaaaaaaaaay back in, um, the fall.... when I told y'all about this opportunity that I received from CSNStores where you could find everything from pacifiers to a Herman Miller Earnes Lounge Chair?
No?
Okay well let me refresh your memories- with a link.
I received a lot of responses on what I should review from the site from my tweeps... but after thinking long and hard about what I actually needed... I decided to get ::drum roll please:: bakeware!!
New baking sheets (2 types) and a loaf pan to be exact! You can see in a few previous quick posts, that I linked straight from my CSNStores account that I loved the products. I have always wanted to buy calphalon products but I could never justify the costs... oh interwebs.. why did I wait so long!
I decided to make Mexican Chocolate Chip cookies and Chocolate Chip Banana Bread.
I used both types of baking sheets, just to see the difference in how the cookies came out- I took pictures, but then realized how dirty my oven looked in them and well I am not sharing that with the world.
On the large jelly roll pan the cookies came out more well done. While on the farberware pan the cookies spread out and were well.. softer. Either way they were chocolicious and yummy.
The calphalon on the loaf pan made it so easy to clean up after the fact. But I probably shouldn't have used a new recipe... because it came out more like a cookie in loaf form rather than bread. It's not the pans fault though... user error :)
Okay so enough reading about my experience with CSNstores.com.
Since I had such a wonderful experience with the site and the team, I want to be able to give you the opportunity to use the site. CSNStores.com has given me $60** to give to one of my readers to use on the site.
All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this post and let me know what you would buy if you won. Oh and if you're on twitter tweet about this post and link to me @wtfhaveidone.
Make it as creative as you want... I will read them all- and possibly post the best to the post where I announce the winner.
The contest will be open until March 7th, 2011 at 11:30pm EST.
**This giveaway is open to US & Canadian readers only and there may be some additional International shipping taxes that the gift code could not cover in the case of Canadian addresses.

I would buy this weird but cool looking firepit: http://www.allmodern.com/Blomus-65079-RY1751.html
I would also buy bakeware! Specifically, a Bundt pan, and not just so I can quote that whole section from My Big Fat Greek Wedding about the Bundt cake. "This cake has a hole in it!"
i think i would get a pizza crisper and a melon scooper thing. don't know why but both seem fun to have, haha.
Pick me! Pick me!
I would buy new baking sheets! I need some new ones because of all the baking I have been doing lately.
And I would bake cookies on them and send you them. And you know how good my cookies are....
Ooh, I can tell you EXACTLY what I will do with those sixty dollars! I'll put it towards a veggie steamer pot. I learned today that my food allergies reach far and wide, and veggies are one of the *only* items I can even EAT for the time being, so I'm all about learning to cook them in various ways. I've yet to own a steamer, and I'm all about changing that! (I've heard steamed veggies are healthiest anyway, so it's a WIN WIN!)(I love that I first typed "WINE WINE")(which, incidentally, I can't have anymore either)(*sob*)
Anway. Steamer. I would definitely buy the steamer.
I'd totally buy a convection toaster oven. I miss my old one like a mofo.
i'd get a couch. or margarita glasses, obv.
I would buy baby clothes...thats a no-brainer! With Asher not even 4 months old and already in 9 month clothing I don't think I have a choice...
Of course, everyone is convinced we're putting HGH in his formula...just trying to get him prepped for his future in MLB!!!
Thanks! I would love to get this bake-ware set from csn stores:

Dragon Arm Water Blaster Gun

and

MLB Animated Lawn Figure - New York Yankees

I like the chance to win free things!
If I were to win your prize... I would take the opportunity to celebrate that spring is right around the corner and purchase some lovely accessories for our patio! The bright lime greens, and navy blue rugs, and cushions! Who knows, maybe we will even get a fountain and fire pit!! I would totally love to splurge for the rocking chair set! To read out on the patio with my nook, with friends! Jules you would totally have to come and rock out on one!
What a lovely website! Thanks for allowing me to venture outside of the winter gloom and doom :)
Oh what would I buy. There are so many things one could buy from this phenomenal website (thanks for introducing me to it)! Where to start:
A couch would be nice, as ours is kind of stinky (not smell-wise, more so for my back). However, $60 will not buy me a couch that is not inflatable, so that's out...
So then I start saying to myself, "Eric, you just re-branded your real estate business and your card case broke...maybe you should get one of those", but then I realize two things: 1) I'm talking to myself and I should probably stop, and 2), I could get something SO much better instead.
So then I start thinking about things that I really need, but that others could share with me, because a free $60 wouldn't be fun unless it was shared...right? So I start thinking of bakeware or cooking stuff that I could share with Val, but I realize we have most of that, or we're registered for it, or I can walk over to your apartment and beg for cookies. So that's out too...
So then I jump to beer and wine, because who doesn't love beer and wine? Okay, some people don't, but most of the people I hang around with do. So I'm like, "Eric, you should buy one of those fancy wine openers." Then I realize I'm talking to myself again and that we already have a corkscrew that works just fine, but I digress...
So finally, I decide I want something that none of my friends have, but will probably entice them to come over and play. It's also something that Val wouldn't let me register for, and I would probably never buy myself despite wanting it. So, I can use the $60 to justify finally buying an espresso maker, and I picked out the Gaggia - 12600 - Espresso Pure Machine in Black, simply because it's a reputable brand that I would never be able to afford if it weren't for CSNStores and this wonderful opportunity to win $60.
P.S. if you pick me I will make you delicious caffeinated beverages.
Thanks! Good luck to all!
