Florida Family Gets Bratz Doll That Swears
(CBS4) MIAMI, Florida They look like a hipper, perhaps street-smart version of Barbie, and that's why Bratz dolls have become so popular with girls. But a Florida family found that the one they bought might be a little too street-smart for them.
Six-year-old Kristina Arce received a Bratz doll named Jade from Santa Claus, but when the doll started singing, her language sounded more than just jaded. The little girl brought it to the attention of her dad, telling him the doll was saying lots of bad words.
"I actually heard at the end some bad words, and I was freaking out," said her father Luis Arce. "I was very upset about it."
According to Arce, the talking doll was using the "F" and "B" words. He double-checked by playing the doll to others in the house and they confirmed what he had heard.
Arce wants an explanation from the store or company that makes the dolls.
CBS4 News in Miami tried contacting the toy company on Christmas Day, but could not get through to anyone.

OMG that's so funny! I was gonna blog about that article too. I sent it to Nicole because I laughed when it said, like Barbie only street-smart and hip" UH, I think the word they were searching for is GHETTO!!
