Part 5 of a 5 part series (THANK GOD).
How to successfully co-exist with people you lurve.
From late April 2005 until Early July 2006, Ari, Jo, Tim and I lived together in a large 2 bedroom apartment in the Fenway area of Boston. Ari and I were finishing up our time at Northeastern and wanted to go out in style. So we chose a large and rather nice place. It had a dishwasher, disposal, two and a half bathrooms, an outside deck and its own washer and dryer. We were such ballers. Or so we thought. Turned out, our landlord were complete and total assholes and always succeeded to screw us over, probably because Ari respectfully declined to date their son, but I digress.
We fought sometimes, like most roommates do, over money and bills and dirty dishes and blah blah blah blah blah. We did some yelling and crying, but we did A LOT of laughing.
So today's memories are a mish mosh of the 14 or so months that we spent together on Gainsborough Street. (Bear with me here it could get confusing)
- Not having a couch for like 2 weeks.
- Finally Driving to buy the couch, somewhere in the suburbs.
- Shite. Couch doesn't fit in the elevator.
- We live on the 4th floor.
- Tim and Ari maneuvering the couch up the stairs.
- We live on the 4th floor.
- We went for beers and 10 cent wings at Whiskeys that night.
- Ari's "liquor cabinet of glory": Which he made himself out of wood he bought at Home Depot. It was a little weird and somehow "off". But it fit most of our beer and shot glasses.
- 2pm, time for Dr. Phil with Jo.
- We lurve "My Super Sweet 16"
- Is it Sunday thru Thursday? Let's go get 10 cent wings.
- Hooray we adopted Bailey from some weirdo lady.
- We love BAILEY!
- Red sox games.
- Sitting behind a pole at Fenway. "I wonder how obstructed these seats are?"
- Making Ari switch seats with me every other inning, so I could see what was happening.
- Buying Ari multiple beers so he would switch seats with me.
- Watching "Team America" with Jo.
- Talking like the Kim Jung Il puppet when greeting people.
- "Oh Herro"
- Making fun of Ari because he mixes Mac and Cheese with tuna out of a can. "What it's like tuna casserole!"
- Ew.
- You ordered how many pairs of Air Force One sneakers on Ebay (Ari)?
- They're coming from China?
- Ari turning on the wrong burner on the stove and vaporized my glass Pyrex dish that was sitting on the other burner. We found tiny pieces of glass in the kitchen till the day we moved.
- Playing "Diner Dash" like woah.
- Jo & I obsessed with "The Sims"
- Watching Ari chase Bailey around the apartment with a lighter. (We should have called PETA on your ass)
- Drinking countless bottles of wine, just because we wanted to expand our pallets.
- Throwing a Halloween Party.
- Dr Evil and a Fembot showed up.
- So did the Blue Man Group.
- They are FAKE. And the wrong sizes.
- Told you that you were going to get screwed.
- DAMNIT! I can't stop watching LAGUNA BEACH.
- More things that I probably can't remember.
- Ari burning a hole in his graduation gown the morning of the ceremony.
- He had to wear a black shirt underneath so that you couldn't see.
- What a dork.
- Grilling on the deck.
- MMMM. Grilling on the deck.
- Playing on a summer Kickball league.
- Tim thinks he is an MVP.
- Dave Matthews Band at Fenway Park. Two Nights in a row!
- Ari's going away party (?)
- Beers at Our House.
HOORAY!

See you guys in a few hours.
