People occasionally do it in our office. I've never seen it, but it's hard to ignore "clip...clip...clip". One time someone was even doing it while on the phone with a client.
okay that is just nasty. ew.
That sound makes my skin crawl, especially when people are doing that in public places like the bus or in class. Here's a quarter, buy a shred of "class" is what I feel like saying.

There was a nasty lady clipping her nails in the airport one time. I was about to gag. There are just some thing you don't do in public.

I must admit. I have nail clippers on my keychain for the times when I smash a nail (in colorguard practice or something) and need to clip it off. I'll only do it over a trash can and away from others though...
