Being rich means having money to comfortably afford the basics like home, health insurance, utilities and groceries with some money left over for the extras like eating out now and then or buying a new pair of shoes. I think being rich is a state of mind as well as financial. So many who seem to be super rich (like not knowing how many houses you have) are so out of touch with the common person who just wants to comfortably afford the basics. I think this gap, as it widens, makes the problems of our country harder to solve.
The topic of how many houses McCain owns is not as straight forward as Obama makes it sound. And the correct answer is McCain owns ZERO houses. http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/21/how-many-houses-does-mccain-own-none/
And Obama's statement that "people like him who own one house..." How many of those people own one house that costs $1.65 million?
Obama is really trying to attack McCain on the elitist, out of touch with the common man front? Hi pot, meet kettle....
There are plenty of other issues that Obama can attack McCain on, but being an elitist is not one of them
