grah-dee-ray oon mahr-tee-nee ah-shyoo-toh pray-goh
I'd like a dry martini, please.
It's nice to know that martini is universal in all languages.
:)
What a way to wrap up NaBloPoMo.
La speranza e l'ultima a morrire.
la spare-ahn-za eh lool-tee-mah ah more-eer-ay
Hope springs eternal.
(Literally it says Hope is the last to die).
Well isn't this uplifting today.
I mean, I doubt that you will ever use this one, but still, warm and fuzzy thoughts!!
Nothing much is going on today.
It was realllllly tough getting up for work this morning.
Especially since Tim is off until Wednesday.
Look back here later for some really funny pictures and videos from Thanksgiving!
E quello la Sua offerta la piu miglore?
e kwehl-loh la soo-ah awf-fehr-tah lah pyoo meel-yoh-ray
Is that your best offer??
Whew.
We are finally home from Warrensburg just in time to watch the Patriots squeak by the Eagles to win. What a nail bitter. There was just a little bit of traffic near Sturbridge, which always happens, but other than that it was uneventful.
Bailey is doing wonderfully.
When we got home tonight she immediately went after her ball to play. But we had to stop her because the vet said no running, jumping or playing for 10-12 days!! Can you imagine!! It's only day 5 post surgery. It's going to be a long next few days.
Andro a casa per le feste.
ahnd-roh ah kah-zah pehr lay fehs-tay
I'm going home for the holidays.
Well not really.
We are headed to Lake George, NY to visit with family until Sunday.
So I am going to try to post everyday, but I am not sure If I will have internet.
(I probably just shot this whole NaBloPoM0 thing to hell) Oh well.
Bailey is back from the hospital (!!) and slowly recovering.
Tim's upset because she's not acting like herself, but I know she's just tired.
I took pictures of her incision in her belly, because I am gross like that.
So if you want to see those let me know.
Have a good turkey day everyone!
So Bailey is in surgery right now, and I am with Tim at work because I cannot bear to go home alone. Another sleepless night. Oh well.
Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. I hope they get all the way to her.

Bailey was sick a couple more times during the night.
Tim actually called over to the Doggie Emergency Room and they said that we should bring her in just in case. But by the time he came home around 3am from work she hadn't been sick again for over 2 hours and then was up and energetic and playing with her ball.
So we both stayed up until around 4am watching her and petting her and loving her.
She made it through the rest of the night without getting sick, so we're going to call the Vet today to see what she thinks.
But I think that she will be Okay. She may have had one too many table treats from the Wii Party on Saturday night. Hopefully that is all it is and she will be back to her normal self by the time I get home from work at around 11pm (!!). God what a day.
Thank goodness I only have 1 and half more days of work and then I am up in Lake George, NY until Sunday.
Like it or not, I have Italian times three today for you all, since you know, you missed it over the weekend.
After working all day at job #2, coming home and finding the following makes me sad:
1. Bailey got sick sometime in between Tim leaving for work at 4 and me coming home at 9pm.
2. So I got to clean that up as soon as I got home.
3. When I went into the bedroom, I found a wet towel on the bed.
4. GRRRRR.
5. Tim took out the wrong type of meat for me to cook tonight.
6. It's not that big a deal.
7. But after finding #1 and #3, It is a big deal.
So now I am going to bake some chicken and try not to scream.
:)
You all are lucky because I forgot to bring home today and tomorrow's Italian phrases.
Nothing much going on today. Tim and I are watching the Michigan vs.Ohio State game right now and I am getting the apartment ready to have a few friends over tonight for some Wii and wine. That should be fun fun.
Oh here's something interesting:
Here are some events that happened on this date in history:
| 1558 | Elizabeth I ascended to the English throne upon the death of Queen Mary. |
| 1800 | Congress held its first session in Washington, D.C., in the partially completed Capitol building. |
| 1869 | The Suez Canal opened in Egypt, linking the Mediterranean and the Red seas. |
| 1968 | NBC outraged football fans by cutting away from the final minutes of a game to air a TV special, "Heidi," on schedule. Viewers were deprived of seeing the Oakland Raiders come from behind to beat the New York Jets 43-32. |
